On January 23-24, 2025, the MOST-H2 consortium gathered at the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck, Austria, for its latest project meeting. Over two days, partners reviewed progress and outlined the next steps.
Discussions centered on preparations for the second review meeting with the European Commission in summer, the development of upscalable materials, and the selection of the final metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for the hydrogen storage tank. Advancing a green synthesis approach remains a key priority.
Beyond the productive sessions, participants also had the chance to enjoy the Alpine winter. A special thank you goes to our hosting partner, FEN Research GmbH, for the excellent organization of the meeting, including a traditional Tyrolean dinner and an evening sledding excursion. In MOST-H2, FEN Research GmbH leads the techno-economic and environmental analysis, including a cradle-to-gate assessment of selected MOF syntheses, evaluating them from physico-chemical, economic, and environmental perspectives. To learn more about their work in the project, read the partner interview with Niusha Shakibi Nia here.
The consortium looks forward to the next milestones and continued collaboration!
