Marrakech, Morocco | 11–14 May 2025
We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Mediterranean Conference on Porous Materias (MEDPore), taking place in Marrakech, Morocco, from May 11th to 14th, 2025.
MEDPore is a biennial scientific event dedicated to uniting researchers from Mediterranean countries and beyond, working across the broad and impactful field of porous materials. Chaired by Prof. Youssef Benmbarek (University Mohammed VI Polytechnic) and Prof. Karim Adil (Le Mans Université), both prominent researchers and part of the MOST-H2 project consortium, MEDPore 25 continues the mission of fostering collaboration in the design, characterization, and application of porous materials, which are essential in areas such as energy transition, environmental sustainability, and clean technologies.
Topics will include but are not limited to:
- Zeolites and Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs)
- Advanced carbons and porous polymers
- Covalent organic frameworks (COFs)
- Mesoporous oxides and hybrid materials
In addition to MEDPore 25, participants are invited to attend two prestigious international events organized around the same dates:
- Laufer Energy Symposium (May 7-9, 2025, Marrakech)
- Fundamentals of Adsorption Conference – FOA 15 (May 18-23, 2025, Porto, Portugal)
