M44 Meeting, online

The MOST-H2 consortium convened for its M44 consortium meeting on Monday, 26 January 2026, in an online setting to exchange updates and align on next steps across all Work Packages.

During the meeting, partners shared significant progress made since the previous milestones. The selection of materials is now well advanced, with several promising candidates already tested. Efforts are increasingly focused on scaling up production. In parallel, the MOST-H2 tank design continues to be further refined, reflecting steady progress toward integrated system development.

Important advances were also reported in the area of life cycle assessment and sustainability. One of the key priorities for the coming months is the development of a comprehensive cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (SLCA) public document, building on the data generated throughout the project. In addition, scientific publications focusing on Life Cycle Assessment of MOF-based systems are currently being planned.

Overall, the discussions confirmed that the MOST-H2 project remains well on track, with the central challenge now shifting toward demonstrating project results under real-world conditions. To address this, partners will continue to work closely together across all work packages to successfully complete the planned demonstrations and analyses in real-life settings.

Further details on the project’s progress, upcoming events, and recent and forthcoming publications will be shared soon in an upcoming press release.
